: It was pretty clean there, also the location is very close to center.
: Everything that could be broken - is broken: cabinet doors, windows, AC (however the bed was ok). There are almost no kitchen appliances. WiFi is very bad, the connection always breaks. Customer service is very poor: when I checked-in at midnight, the first question I was asked - if I support Israel or Palestine, and I received a 5 mins brainwash about this topic. Next they insisted I pay cash, not by card. And after that they mentioned that my room is (surprisingly) not available, and they give me another room, but for one night only, and then I have to move. It took me a very long time to convince them to give me one room for the whole stay, but that was an awful experience. The location is questionable: you always hear these minarets, they wake you up at 6AM, so you may want to look at the hotels on the Asian side.

: Service was exceptional - Rizwan(owner) and Illyas(caretaker) were absolutely phenomenal. My parents arrived a day early and they made them so comfortable. Carried their bags, upgraded then to the terrace room, showed them around and showered affection. The next day Rizwan gave me his istanbulkart to move around as well (I topped up of course). On requests to move rooms, they were so accommodating. It's a boutique hotel but care is very personal. Illyas refused to take a tip also, had to force it :). Location is superb since it's at the start of Galata climb close to tophane tram station so doesn't require a huge climb to get to. It's also close to a lot of amenities and restaurants. Try and stay in the terrace room (low ceilings warming)
: The accomodation per se is not too bad, but don't expect all the facilities and amenities tip top e.g. some things are a bit rusted/broken. But if you're not comparing this to a 4/5 star and not too finnicky it's a great place for the money. The only other issue was the tie up for breakfast. While it's with the Galata falls hotel, it's quite limited and gets repetitive if you're staying multiple days. I would actually recommend not taking breakfast included and explore on your own since there are so many options around.
